Books

In addition to trainings, I want to share my experience and knowledge also as books. In this section you will find books that have been already written, are in the process of being written, or have just been considered to be written in the future.

With all the books, my plan is to, first, write them in Estonian (1. draft), add feedback from test readers (2. draft), publish as e-book, print them, and also translate to English and publish them as both e-book and printed book.

Optimal documentation

Useful, Up-To-Date and Convenient

The goal of this book is to help achieve a balance in documentation: creating useful and up-to-date documentation that is neither overly burdensome nor excessively time-consuming.

The book is based on a course that I have taught both separately and as a part of a longer training. I realized it is worth publishing as a standalone book so that it can be accessible both after the course and independently from it.

Data field analysis

practical manual and checklist

The book describes what is happening in system analyst’s brain while they have to make decisions regarding data field naming, displaying, behavior etc. It contains a detailed description that one needs to consider during this process for different types of data fields and also delivers this thought process for some of the most common data fields specifically.

The book helps Business, System and Data Analysts understand, how they are making those decisions, and make those decisions smarter in the future.
